About Us
We are a woman-owned business located in Mercer Island, Washington. The owner and operator, Randi Kearn, had spent nearly 30 years in the painting and construction industry before deciding to get her general contractors license and go into remodeling. This is how the Greater Eastside Remodel was created. At that point, Kearn decided to specialize in residential and commercial environments. More specifically, the company remodels kitchens, bathrooms, and offers many additional services.
At Greater Eastside Remodel, we pride ourselves on always going above and beyond. We want each customer to have a seamless experience when doing business with us. This means going to the customer’s remodel site to handle estimates and taking care of the entire process of receiving the permits for the customer.
We know our customers value communication, quality, and efficiency. The team at Greater Eastside Remodel is prepared to meet and exceed these expectations for all of our customers.

Abby
Abby is our Operations Manager. With 17 years of experience in management, bookkeeping, and business development, specifically in the commercial and residential construction industry. She has a deep understanding of the industry and what it takes to successfully manage and develop a business. Her extensive experience, combined with her ability to effectively manage day-to-day operations, makes her an invaluable asset to our team at Greater Eastside Remodel.
ALEX
Alex is responsible for Tiling. He immigrated from Russia with his family when he was in high school. He learned how to do tile in his teens and started a business in 2010.
He does beautiful work and also does granite.
ALHAJI
Alhaji is our Lead Painter. He was born in New York. His father was a painter and immigrated here from Gambia. Alhaji and his brother Mohommed started painting with their father when they were children, and later went into business for themselves. I've been working with them for about a year. They do beautiful work, interior and exterior Painting, insulation and drywall. I love working with them.
BRITTANY
Brittany is an Estimator at Greater Eastside Remodel. Her attention to detail, ability to interpret project plans and specifications, and strong analytical skills are essential in accurately assessing project costs and creating competitive bids for our clients.
CASEY
Casey is our Installation and Framing Specialist, he is responsible for executing high-quality installations and framing tasks for our remodeling projects. His expertise in carpentry, knowledge of building codes, and precise execution of construction plans are critical in achieving outstanding results for our clients.
DAN
Dan was born and raised in Seattle and is our certified home inspector, as well as lead and asbestos testing and abatement. He is also the best and cleanest demolition expert.
JAIME
Jaime is our Lead Painter. He plays a crucial role in transforming any space through his exceptional painting skills and attention to detail. His expertise in surface preparation, color matching, and precise application contributes to achieving outstanding results for our remodeling projects.
JENN
Jenn is an Apprentice at Greater Eastside Remodel. Her responsibilities include assisting skilled workers with carpentry, painting, flooring, and other tasks. She is developing her skills and growing within our thriving remodeling company.
MOHAMMED
Mohammed is one of our Painters. He was born in New York. His father was a painter and immigrated here from Gambia. They do beautiful work, interior and exterior Painting, insulation, and drywall. I love working with them.
RANDI
Owner and Operator at Greater Eastside Remodel.
I was born in California. I started building and painting at about 13yrs old. I loved working with my hands. I was the only girl in Woodshop, in the 7th grade. I loved making things and fixing things for my mother. I worked on my first car when I was 16, and then began my love of tinkering in engines. Fixing small appliances and machines was fun for me.
I loved building. At age 17 I got a job refinishing antiques, then started painting for people I knew. I worked for several Contractors, learning how to Paint professionally, Tile, Build fences and decks, lay flooring, refinish floors, some plumbing, and basic electrical. At age 32 I built my first White Oak Kitchen Cabinets and started Demolition of kitchens and bathrooms. By age 34 I had a Residential & Commercial Painting Company.
I have been a Project Manager and Operations Manager of several companies.
I've been in the Painting and Construction industry for nearly 30 yrs.
Recently I decided to get my General Contractors license and go into remodeling. This is how Greater Eastside Remodel was born.
